Jr. High Youth Group

The Jr. High Youth group, also known as CIA (Christians in Action), meets every other Wednesday evening at the Jetmore First Baptist Church. CIA is led by Scott & Brenda MacNair and many other helpers. All Hodgeman County students in grades 6th-8th are invited to come enjoy a good meal, fun games, and a Bible lesson.

Our goal is to challenge each young person to "own" his or her faith by practicing prayer, asking questions, studying the Bible, and reaching out to others. Youth are encouraged to know Jesus Christ for themselves and develop a lifelong commitment to serving Him.

Activities throughout the year:

Every Christmas, CIA packs food boxes and organizes the food pantry in Dodge City, Kan.

Three times a year, CIA collects food for the local food pantry and Rainy Day Box ministry.

Every June, for two days, CIA attends a youth rally and conference at Celebration Community Church in Hays, Kan.

Twice a year, CIA makes a meal and serves at Friendship Feast soup kitchen in Dodge City, Kan.
